Isla Mujeres is a small island off the coast of Cancun, and getting around it is refreshingly simple. The main road runs from the ferry dock at the north end down to the southern cliffs and beaches, with plenty of side streets to explore. Many visitors find that walking works for the northern town area but that a vehicle becomes necessary once you want to cover the full length of the island.
